Icelandic Sunrise

My husband and I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland last October on a Beekman 1802 Trip of a Lifetime. Iceland has had a trendy period and I can see why. Sometimes trends are trends for a reason, much like certain European places are must see's. On Episode 9 of Musings of a GenX Home Baker on You Tube, I talk about the experience of the new friends we met while on that trip. I forget now that we haven't known them forever. Iceland had all of the fantastic scenic moments like this spectacular sunrise you hope for in an adventure but it was the new friends we met and have become rather attached to that have provided strong feelings for this country. Although our hearts and souls were opened by this stunning sunrise, they were far more expanded when seeing it with our new friends at the dawning of a new day, where all things seemed possible.
