Capturing the Light...of a Place, of a People, and of a Moment

How do you capture light and love? Well, I know...you spend it with the people you love in a landscape that is home and you will naturally create or experience moments of lightness and love. Chris and I traveled to his home state of New Hampshire this past July to spend two and a half weeks catching up with family and friends. We traveled with this lovely crew (the photo with the maple creamees) and spent time in our favorite places just being. We didn't force the magic, it just happened. We were just happy to be out and about. We captured interior and exterior light in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. There were moments that took our breath away with the simpleness of the pleasure, such as the sunset off of my in-laws back deck or picking up eggs down the road. We visited our

favorite breakfast place in Portsmouth, NH at the Friendly Toast and reveled in the interesting juxtaposition of light fixtures and wall art (we might have found Elvis as well).
